About this artwork
This sculpture features two fish skulls (merluza), mounted on fine rods and resting on a dark, tiered base. One holds a Swarovski crystal near its centre – a quiet focal point, suggesting presence and energetic balance.
The composition evokes a pair: poised, abstract, almost sovereign. Their mirrored stance and delicate geometry suggest a silent relationship – one shaped by nature’s own logic. Together, they form an alignment that feels at once… fragile and resolute.
As in all my work, the materials are left unchanged. I do not sculpt, but reveal: form, memory, and vibration. I approach each fragment with reverence and gratitude – aware that even the smallest remains carry a presence that resonates far beyond the visible.
