About this artwork
The cosmos has its own laws that science only partially explains. Near a black hole, tidal forces caused by differences in gravity tend to stretch and tear bodies apart; time slows down, lines of sight are deflected, and light is swallowed. These mysterious and fascinating entities, created by the implosion of old stars, draw everything beyond the event horizon, a place where the unknown reigns.
I hope that even the black holes of our unconscious… can swallow up everything we can't let go of, making it vanish beyond the event horizon of the dark side of our mind, a place we all possess, know we possess, but carefully avoid frequenting.
