Piotr Butkiewicz is a Polish visual artist whose abstract paintings express subtle emotions and a personal interiority. While his early work focused on changes in light and atmosphere of landscapes, his newer work engages with the ambiguous and subjects such as happiness, delight, depth, and confusion. Butkiewicz’s paintings have been exhibited in a number of solo and group shows in Poland as well as abroad in the Netherlands, Germany, and Finland.
