About this artwork
The minimalistic compositions of graphics and matrixes arise directly from the subject of the doctoral thesis, whose main assumption was to study the relation of space and graphics object. Simple divisions of planes as well as basic geometrical elements from which I constructed my works favor the building of the relationship between a specific work and the place where it is located.

« There is a similarity between abstraction and languages, in both cases, the lack of in-depth knowledge of the language does not exclude the possibility to understand emotions within a conversation. »
Piotr Skowron is a Polish draftsman whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in China, Serbia, and Argentina. In addition, his art is featured in the permanent collections of the Mark Rothko Art Center (Latvia) and the China Printmaking Museum. Skowron describes his abstract pieces as being comprised of the basic means of artistic expression, which include composition, line, color, and surface. All of which are used as a language, through which he expresses emotions.
