This really happened ….Quabbin Massachusetts USA summer of 1974.
A group of us on an early morning walk were shadowed by wolves , we couldnt actually see them but heard them some 20 feet away ; they made a low howling sound but made no move to cause us harm . A great owl looked on from above . Painted in the old house in Turtelback drive st george Grenada West indies.
