About this artwork
As all pieces in the CHROMOLOGY Series, this is a play on color combinations and sheens intended to draw out specific emotions tied to those colors and their combinations. With the various sheens of paint, these pieces also change throughout the day as the natural light changes around it. I specifically like these pieces to have indirect natural light coming in from the side and gently washing the face of the canvas for maximum drama.

PMFarinas is the artistic name employed by Patricia Farinas, an American artist who has exhiibted her paintings in Miami. She describes her abstract works as describing who she is at the moment of creation. Currently, Farinas' bold compositions convey color as the main theme. She feels that the abstract nature of her paintings invites viewers to "see that they want to see", often drawing out their own experiences and feelings.
