« The most important thing for me in my artworks is the atmosphere and mood in which you plunge when you look at them. »
Polina Kharlamova has always fascinated by the "foggy mystery of the past" and the special rules of beauty from a world gone by. The Russian artist reproduces this atmosphere in her works. Kharlamova is also inspired by jazz, which she unconsciously visualizes. She creates using mixed media, watercolors, gouache, and graphite on paper, as well as tempera on canvas.
