“Kumiho” is a mesmerizing painting inspired by the Korean legend of the Kumiho, a mythical fox that transforms into a beautiful woman. As an artist, I sought to capture the enigmatic and alluring nature of this legendary figure, blending elements of realism and abstract expressionism to create a dynamic and captivating piece.
In this work, I used a vibrant and bold color palette dominated by fiery reds and oranges, contrasted with softer hues of… blue and grey. The swirling red hair and intricate patterns surrounding the central figure emphasize her mystical aura and add a sense of movement and energy to the painting.
