This painting is the epitome of an emotional abstract creation. It was painted over a very old self portrait in black and white and therefore the title "Covering Up The Past" has both a literal and figurative meaning. This piece is one of a kind and striking in it's use of black and white, with hints of yellows and red which pop against the negative space. The texture and subtle variation of color really enhance this piece and give it more depth…
