About this artwork
This is a completely original abstract oil painting on canvas. It was painted with a swarm of energy and texture. It is very colorful, but with a heavy use of white, it becomes more muted in places which gives it added depth. It is unique from some of my other pieces in that the base texture on the canvas was very thick and erratic. I used this texture and enhanced it to make this truly and uniquely structured piece. It reminds me slightly of some…
of the work of Pollock and De Kooning, but is completely unique to me and my style. It is a true combination of different styles and techniques that I have been working with over the past year.
