About this artwork

This is a completely unique and original large abstract oil painting on canvas. It was painted on a hand-stretched (by the artist) canvas. This piece is a continuation into an exploration of streaking color and texture. This piece has more muted tones. The accents of color and texture in this piece are used sparingly and give the feel of color running, or "weeping" down the canvas like running mascara. It is a subtle, and calculatedly messy piece… that has emotional undertones. Is this a statement on the current political climate and the inhumanities taking place all over the world? I leave this up to the mind of the collector.

Note: This painting is painted on hand-stretched canvas and does not come framed, however the sides of the canvas are painted black and therefore framing is not necessary, but up to the collector's preference. It is hang ready.
