About this artwork
This series is a profound reflection on the transience of time and its transcendental impact on our lives. It is a moving testimony to the ephemeral nature of each moment, as time fades between our fingers like sand in an hourglass. The title itself, "Tempus Fugit", taken from an ancient verse written by the illustrious Latin poet Virgil more than two millennia ago, resonates with the eternal truth of the swift passage of time. has been to capture the complexity of human emotions and the inherent fragility of our existence.
In "Tempus Fugit", the color figure made in oil becomes a reflection of the present, as if it were an instant captured on canvas. On the other hand, the blurred image that emerges from the image transfer represents the relentless march of time, where shapes fade and intertwine, symbolizing the transience of each moment.
