About this artwork
A continuing meditation on the relationship between the connection we have with the inner and outer worlds within Earth and the universe we live in.
The roots of the tree expanding to define the connection to the sphere of our Earth and the trunk solidly connecting us to the night sky above. The soothing layers of blues and purple take us into inner calm and hold us mesmerized for hours.
Note: Why is this painting called "Tree II +(a)" ??? … Because my youngest son is a math geek and when I painted this he was creating formulas to try to figure out how many leaves there were in the painting…. so I …. named the painting a “formula”. :)
