About this artwork
Expressionist work made with a multitude of textures. The artist is carried away by the imagination and, emulating the cemeteries of Elephants, creates his cemetery of Elevantes (planes). A game of words in Spanish of great similarity that helped him to create this scene.

« I think I won't have enough life to finish starting to paint. As I move forward and progress I realize there is still MORE to say. »
Rafael Carrascal García is an award-winning Spanish painter who has extensively exhibited throughout Spain, as well as in China. While working as a draftsman and technical architect, he never abandoned his passion for painting and the desire to express the subconscious. Now, as a professional artist, García’s works explore atmospheric landscapes that are filled with fantastical elements. When creating, he uses mixed media such as oils and acrylics, painting outside as much as possible.
