About this artwork
The work "The Stage" originated from working with young people. The real stage offers an opportunity to showcase one's talent, slip into a different role, and discover new aspects of oneself. In real life, we make commitments, fulfill the expectations of others, and are integrated into social networks. It is important that we don't lose touch with our own needs and remain grounded.
I painted the picture using the traditional glazing technique with… many different layers of oil paint. This makes it glow and radiate a magical atmosphere.
