A woman on her way. With a few, strong lines, which become finer in some places and reveal details, the person's exterior is depicted in order… to reflect the inner state of mind. In the background the person is shown as a whole figure, walking, with his bags packed. A departure at sunrise or sunset, a step into a new phase of life.
I also created some of these digital works as a painted version, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas, measuring 100 x 100 cm (39.4 x 39.4 inches). If desired, this work can also be created as a hand-painted version.

Ralf Schmidt is an experimented German artist whose paintings have been widely exhibited on a national level, as well as in the Netherlands. His figurative works portray inner realities, as well as individual aspects and situations that connect with "collective feeling". Schmidt's compositions have their own unique image structure, wherein the motif represented in the middle is "torn from the original context".
