About this artwork
In the evening, especially at full moon, when the ebb is strongest, fairy-tale pictures are revealed. The light is special and is obtained only then. I spend a lot of summer on a Greek island and I did a whole series inspired by that time.

Ralitsa Stoitseva is an experienced artist based in Bulgaria whose paintings have been featured in solo exhibitions nationally, in Switzerland, Czechia, and France. Inspired by her surroundings, the environment, relationships, significant events, and ordinary activities, she imbues each of her pieces with messages. In her artistic process, Stoitseva employs mixed media, acrylics, oils, and pastels on canvas.
