"My meetings,
You who crossed my path for an hour, a day, weeks or months,
You who left with a little piece of me,
And I stood there, watching you flee speechless.
So what did you take away and preserve as a souvenir of our emotions?
This question will remain unanswered, but everyone knows…
And I, in each of you, am scattered!
You broke me, loved me, ignored me, pampered me and disgusted… me.
But very much alive and motivated, I remained more than ever!
My shell in a thousand pieces, my heart in pieces, but I'm still here!
Ready to give the best, to open my soul and my arms again...
Like the phoenix, I am reborn much stronger, much better, and sure of my choices.
But make no mistake, the sensitive and fragile woman will always be me!”

Born in Brussels in January 1972, Ralph.S, has lived in Mouscron (Belgium) for 32 years. A major health problem led him to resume artistic painting in March 2020.
"Working mainly in oil, Ralph.S paints every night, between waking and sleeping, a way of letting go and letting his emotions express themselves fully on the canvas. The evolution of the world, society, the female condition, more recently poetry..., the painter always combines painting and philosophy, accompanying the viewer on the path of a reflection as free as it is intimate and profound.
Ralph S. holds on to this freedom, this absence of judgment, this pure and generous invitation to think and feel.
Ralph S., who has won many awards, has created over 300 oil paintings in the last 5 years! His colours are bright and pure, his strokes poetic. These works are always between reality and fiction, between figuration and abstraction.
