About this artwork
I paint what I see when I dream with eyes wide open, flashes of everyday life combined with sparks of imagination and thoughts of an utopic world. I get inspiration from everything I experience trough all my senses and in my art I always seek for beauty and harmony, even in ugliness and chaos.
I have my own story in mind when painting, but I prefer to not share it with the viewer, as I consider that a mere description would destroy it's visual complexity.…
Art goes beyond words, is visual philosophy and is supposed to serve a higher, transcendental purpose.
What I like to do is interact with the viewer and hear each one's interpretation, which in my experience always differs and I find amazing how the same artwork can provide so many different stories and meanings depending on the viewer's vibrations, emotions, experiences, fears and dreams.
