About this artwork
I had some doubt about uploading this painting and then I thought: What the hell, right? I painted this in 2019 and it kinda fits really well in the times we live in.
This painting is a sarcastic view on All-In holidays. Drunk people having fun without any shame, destroying the environment season after season. Don't get me wrong, I was definitely one of them!
Now, looking back at these holidays during times of Covid I kinda miss it. But on the… other hand it is better we're not doing this stuff for a while. So yes, there is quite a bit of duality involved in the things we do and the choices me make.
Back then this story got stuck in my mind and had to paint it. It is a bit different from my other artworks, but I needed to release this idea. Otherwise it keeps strolling around in my thoughts and that kinda messes me up.
