About this artwork
A solid grip was the last thing I had when I was a teen. I drank too much beer, coffee and ate the occasional magic mushroom.
But...I had fun! Loads of fun.
It is meant as a fun painting, with perhaps a little warning, because although I did have fun in that time it has a bit of danger to it and I wouldn't recommended it (yes, I do lol)
I am pretty sure you too had loads fun and did your wild stuff when you were young. This painting is a reminder… of those good times. Never loose the memory!
By combining realistic stuff, like the nose, I like to search for contrast. The contrast between realism and an expressionistic loose painting style. Lot's of colors, effects and fun!
I have used different brands of acrylic paints, spray paint, graffiti inks and more to paint this. Some parts of the painting has around twenty layers of paint. The result is a bright, colorful, slightly absurd eye catcher!
