About this artwork
An abstract color painting, strong and multi-layered in shades of green with some intermediate gradations. What is particularly special here is that collage has been carried out with papers and writing, creating a new kind of space. It is painted in Provence, more precisely: in Reillanne, a small French village at the foot of the Lubéron, where no one likes to move about in this season from 11 a.m. and from 4 p.m. people slowly go about their business…
again. So this picture is also painted over 1 week in the early morning of the Provencal summer, accompanied by the scent of rosemary and thyme, which grow directly in front of the studio door.
