Randy Akers is a prizewinning painter from the United States whose works have been featured in solo shows nationally and in a Hollywood film. His former career as a director and designer for TV and cinema gave him a rich creative background which he now applies in his full time profession as a painter. Working mostly in acrylic on wood, Akers creates semi-abstract works that play with texture and light in gentle color palettes.
