Plant inspiration – Jean-Marie Pelt Botanical Garden
In this inverted version, the scene seems to shift into another world. The flowers become cold, almost snowy shards, while the interlacing transforms into a geometric constellation, as if the light itself had changed its logic.
The counter-spell is born here: in this reversal where what was gentle becomes striking, where spring takes on the appearance of a luminous winter, where each branch… seems to breathe a light coming from the other side.
The work questions what we think we see. It suggests that every appearance has its reverse side, and that beauty can emerge as much from the obvious as from inversion. It is a whisper from another plane, a reminder that reality is never fixed, but always ready to turn around and reveal an unexpected truth.
