Plant inspiration – Jean-Marie Pelt Botanical Garden
When the light withdraws and the world tilts into its reverse, the forms that were thought to be stable begin to radiate a different truth.
The negative is not an absence: it is the darkroom where myths are recomposed.
In this inverted night, the interlacing ceases to be a net to become a constellation, a cosmic architecture where each circle seems to retain the memory of an ancient order,… no longer imposed on the living, but revealed by its withdrawal.
The butterfly, now stripped of its original color, is no longer a messenger of the day but a liminal figure, a winged shadow suspended between appearance and disappearance, as if its metamorphosis had crossed a forbidden threshold.
Here, color persists: it has been reversed. What was background becomes source, what was motif becomes sky, and the living, deprived of its familiar brilliance,
finally agrees to become part of the legend.
