Plant inspiration – Jean-Marie Pelt Botanical Garden
A plant-like presence rises at the threshold of an ordered world, as if it had traversed time to settle there. Around it, the constellations do not shine: they persist. Traced, repeated, silent, they delineate a space where memory circulates rather than imposes itself.
The plant does not disrupt the order; it inhabits it. It becomes part of the fabric without dissolving into it, fragile yet… tenacious. Between calculation and breath, the work suggests an ancient dialogue: that of the living world facing the structures that claim to contain it.
Nothing is fixed. Forms remain vigilant, vegetation resists, and in this suspended balance a gentle enigma unfolds — that of what remains, even when the stars have ceased to guide.
