About this artwork
It’s spring and young shoots are out! We can be hopeful and this painting is in anticipation of Spring. It’s vibrant and colourful with many layers of acrylics painted over each other.

« Vibrant colours are the main substance of my artworks. »
Rashna Hackett is an experienced British artist with national exposure. She paints intuitively, without any strict plans, allowing instinct to guide the creative process and reacting spontaneously to strokes of color. Inspired by her rich childhood experiences in East Africa, she composes works that represent her perception of life: dynamic and complex, forever being deconstructed and reborn.
