About this artwork
Thinking about power, strength of waves. Rasko uses thick layers of paint in many shades of turquoise, teal and viridian. Paint is applied by throwing it on canvas in controlled motion with paintbrushes, sticks, spoons. The stepping shades emphasise waves dimension and splashing water. Nature is awesome.
