In creating this piece, I sought to explore the complexity of perception through an abstract collage. Layering and contorting fragments, I played with form and color to express the fluidity of reality. It's a dialogue on the ephemeral nature of truth, inviting viewers to question and interpret. Ray Beldner is a printmaker and sculptor based in the United States whose works have been exhibited nationally. Much of his pieces have either sampled, borrowed from, or have paid homage to the work of historically significant artists. In addition, Beldner is fascinated by the relationship between "high crafts" such as painting, drawing, and sculpture with "low unheralded crafts" like sewing and collage.
