About this artwork
This collage on paper is inspired by the work of contemporary sculptor, Lynda Benglis. Using elements from her work, the pieces have been re-formed into a wholly new collage that is playful and visually active. These works are best display in groups of 4 or more.

Ray Beldner is a printmaker and sculptor based in the United States whose works have been exhibited nationally. Much of his pieces have either sampled, borrowed from, or have paid homage to the work of historically significant artists. In addition, Beldner is fascinated by the relationship between "high crafts" such as painting, drawing, and sculpture with "low unheralded crafts" like sewing and collage.
