About this artwork
I have been commissioned in the years past to make a couple of murals depicting the five biblical Patriarchs of Genesis. This inspired much research and travel into the remote desert regions of Israel and other historical sites. I have returned to this theme occasionally, and this engraved and painted wood panel depicts the Twelve Tribes, offspring of Jacob, on Jacob's return journey from Harran to Canaan.
