Rebecca J. White is an experienced artist based in Japan whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in the United States and Italy. She describes each of her works as being "poetic illustrations" that depict interacting social, economic, and mechanical systems which she has seen or imagined. In addition, White cites her professional experiences as an electronics technician as influencing the visual metaphors in her compositions.
