In “The Conductor”, I explore the invisible forces that give shape to form, rhythm to chaos, and coherence to the abstract. At the center of the composition is a fractured, copper-gilded ring—part celestial, part organic—suspended in a space that feels both cosmic and internal. This circular form, rendered in thick, impasto strokes, represents both unity and disruption—a symbol of continuity that has been tested and altered by movement and time.…
The rich interplay of metallic copper against a muted background of stormy blues, ashen violets, and deep umbers creates an emotional and visual contrast. The background, with its watery drips and marbled atmosphere, evokes a dreamlike void, a space where energy coalesces and disperses. In this suspended environment, the copper textures become more than surface—they are gestures of force, marks of direction, signals of intent.
