Highly textured abstract painting. The Weaver series of small eight 8in x 8in sculptural artworks are layered with archival acrylic paint, acrylic ink, and flexible modeling paste. Fused with blues, coppers, silver, and metallic colors. Texturing goes over entire canvas including sides. Artwork should not be framed. D-rings and wire for hanging attached.
As Redin layered the works over and over again she began to think of the verb weave. A spider… weaves a web for food to capture. A storyteller weaves together narrative. The paintings were inspired by the Wabi-Sabi theory of ephemeral beauty, also exploring how the layered textures could create spaces that capture, entice, emote, and allow a story to unfold.
Professional grade materials including acrylic inks, acrylic paint, flexible modeling paste, and gel mediums. Signed on the back of canvas.

Redin Winter, an American painter, has exhibited her works across the United States. Each of her series has a specific theme or expressiveness at their core.
