‘Self Reflection’ is a state of myself reflection in the moment , its a reflect work
about how I understand the relationship in between myself and masks. The
frame is inspired by British traditional mirror frame. The symbol on top of my
head is a key. The Chinese character in the artwork which means tolerance. I
was experiencing space time in London, I was seeing myself in a British traditional mirror, also with my understand about life in that state… - ‘tolerance is a
key in our life’.

Reggy Liu is a talented young artist who spends her time living and working between London and Shanghai. Her mixed-media practice combines art, psychology and neuropsychology, to explore the intangible emotions between the spiritual and physical worlds. Combining performance with painting, her work plays with the idea of socio-cultural masks and the related dichotomy of authenticity and fiction. Her paintings are surreal and psychedelic in appearance, blending bright colors with mystifying figures.
