About this artwork
This painting depicts the special bond between humans and animals, sustained by the power of nature and the stillness of winter. While painting it, I was reminded of the harsh winters of the past in my home village in the heart of the Bavarian Forest. Those days when snow and cold enchanted everything.
It's a picture that tells a story: about the ancient bond between humans and nature. A piece of personal memory.

Regina Fleck was born in 1967 in Guglöd, a picturesque village in the middle of the Bavarian Forest. She has been rooted in nature since her childhood.
Growing up surrounded by the beauty and silence of the forest, she developed a passion for drawing and painting at an early age.
The aesthetics of nature became her central theme and continues to shape her artistic work to this day.
After graduating from high school, she decided to train as a medical assistant, without giving up her passion for art.
It soon became apparent that her dynamic expression was best expressed on large canvases.
Her style - both colorful and black and white - reflects the intensity of her emotions.
The forest remains her place of power. For her, it is an inexhaustible source of inspiration, which is expressed in her work.
