“Horse” is one picture from the triptych “Movement”.
All the works of the triptych are united by one idea - movement. In this work, I tried to show the most clear and decisive movement up.
The horse is one of my favorite animals. I often go to the racetrack and photograph horses, or draw them from life. Each of them has its own character, someone likes to be stroked, someone is very wayward. I have drawn horses many times and I have several canvases… with them. And the canvases are also all different. something smoother and more fluid, like this one. Some are more rigid and angular, like in other series. The circle in this work, as a symbol of calm and cyclical. And it is noteworthy that the circle uses the method of simultaneous contrast. The colors are different, and they are almost identical in tone. Perhaps it is not always the truth that lies on the surface.
In 2016 it won in Interregional Youth Art exhibition "Young Siberia"
