About this artwork
A unique work made of iron wire, cotton paper pulp, collage, and gold leaf. Each apple contains 120 LED lights.
The work occupies a space of 60 cm, with a base diameter of approximately 30 cm. The sculpture depicts two apples, modeled with baked iron wire that outlines their essential contours. The lightweight structure acts as a transparent skeleton, within which the textured and irregular cotton paper pulp covers some surfaces, creating a delicate… interplay of solids and voids. The work illuminates from within: the light filters through the paper, spreading in a soft and warm way, while the iron sections remain backlit, drawing a graphic pattern in the air. The result is a poetic and highly decorative object that diffuses a warm and enveloping light into the environment.
The work is delivered in the appropriate packaging in sewn jute bags and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
