About this artwork
This work is composed of three elements in handmade cotton paper measuring 25x35 cm. mounted on a panel of thick fabric worked with laser cutting, it is a tapestry, on the back there are two wooden strips that keep the fabric stretched out and distanced from the supporting wall.
The work can be framed or hung directly on the wall.
It is a bas-relief made with cotton paper pulp and oxidized iron wire with interventions of gestural writing, watercolor… and pencil. It is an abstract work that tells the evolution of a sign as an evolutionary movement.
It is part of the Scarabocchio Collection created in 2023 and covered by copyright.
It is a unique piece and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

Renata Giannelli is an Italian artist specialized in the use of handmade paper as an alchemical, creative and expressive material.
