About this artwork
The collages consist of 2 different image levels:
I cut out parts of original historical landscape and city images.
The cuts initially follow the architecture, then take on a life of their own to create completely new structures in the landscape and the buildings.
The 2nd level is a collage made of different colored paper.
By combining the 2 levels, the landscape becomes a surrealistic new place.
The collage comes with a white pass-partout with… external dimensions of 30 x 24 cm!
