About this artwork
This series of paradises is made on canvas.
The background "sky" is painted with acrylic, then the plants and animals cut out by hand are placed. Each background has a different mood, which is also independent of the material of the background, i.e. whether it is watercolor paper or canvas. And the plants and animals are composed by me until they feel right to me. My collection of material is constantly growing, even if there are favorite motifs… that I use again and again.
There is something mystical about this work here due to the use of the overgrown menhirs. The color is also very unique. And it's an ode to the flammingos.
