About this artwork
The pillar structures are a relic of a past civilization. In the distance is a city where a rocket is launching. But the landscape is barren, almost desert-like. Only in the foreground are grasses, lizards, and insects visible. Above it all are two planets.
In my collage, I interweave surreal and symbolic elements on paper to create a dreamlike scene. I play with contrasts and structures by bringing cartographic fragments and everyday scenes into… dialogue. The combination of ethereal lightness and earthy connection invites reflection on space, time, and our individual paths.
