About this artwork
Birth Within Fire
An energy born within fire emerges at the threshold between destruction and creation. The intensity of red and orange tones carries the force of this inner ignition, while the rising forms reflect a powerful connection with the universe as part of the COSMOS series. The fluid interaction between brush and paint, combined with bold strokes and merging colors, creates a surface that radiates both heat and continuous transformation.

Rezan Ozger is a Turkish contemporary painter based in New Jersey, USA. After a distinguished career in law, she devoted her life entirely to painting, developing a philosophical and distinctive visual language.
Working primarily in oil and trained in classical drawing, composition, and color, she is driven by awe at a vast, interconnected universe in endless cycle. In her COSMOS series, she interprets deep-space telescope photographs through original imagination — grounded in science, born of imagination. Through portraits, equine art, and COSMOS, she captures moments where light, energy, and form converge.
She has held multiple solo exhibitions, and her work has been presented in international art fairs across Turkey, Italy and the United States, including ArtExpo New York, Red Dot Miami, and Chicago, with upcoming participation in Zurich and Paris.
Her work reflects on transformation and the infinite nature of the universe — where the visible dissolves into the unseen.
