About this artwork
In this work, I sought to capture the fusion of darkness and light, using oil to express a mysteriously captivating horizon. This semi-abstract landscape evokes a distant, almost unreal harbor, shrouded in the mist of our memories or dreams. The touches of bright red recall the constant presence of life and energy, which, even in the distance, remains vibrant and pulsating. War or peace does not matter here, since the imagination prevails.

RICHARD DUBURE – Professional painter.
Richard was born in 1952 in Paris. He has lived in Ussel (Corrèze) since 1979.
It was naturally through contact with his father Gilbert, a painter, that he began to work on painting and quickly asserted his personality. He presented his first work to the public in 1973. Since then, he has exhibited regularly in various artistic events in France and abroad.
