About this artwork
This work is part of the trilogy “The Big Blue”.
In this work, I wanted to capture the infinite serenity and mysterious depth of blues. Using acrylics and oils, I created a semi-abstract scene that evokes both the tranquility of vast expanses of water and silent contemplation. This painting, with its subtle nuances and almost imperceptible horizon, invites a moment of calm and introspection, offering a soothing touch to any living space.

RICHARD DUBURE – Professional painter.
Richard was born in 1952 in Paris. He has lived in Ussel (Corrèze) since 1979.
It was naturally through contact with his father Gilbert, a painter, that he began to work on painting and quickly asserted his personality. He presented his first work to the public in 1973. Since then, he has exhibited regularly in various artistic events in France and abroad.
