About this artwork
"Ocean View" is a plein-air seascape/ landscape painting completed during a self awarded Artist Residence, September 2024, in Little Compton, Rhode Island. The work depicts an atypical view of a shingled cottage, a lovely sea view, and gnarly, salt tolerant Sycamore Maple trees. The work relates influences of Van Gogh and Cezanne, with watery, quiet tones. The canvas is beautiful and will grace any fine exhibition space.
