About this artwork
This abstract screen print is constructed from repeated use of a simple stencil. The stencil comes from packaging on a roll of multi-purpose masking tape and the title of this work comes from the shape itself. Richard Peacock improvised the composition step by step and colour by colour. The stencil is repeated 30 times and as the composition evolved, so the white shapes between the shapes became more visually active.
