How as an… artist to I respond to all this?
My anti dote is Art, and retreating in my studio, trying to transform all these powerless feelings into the power of a new project, that somehow might reflect the chaotic times we live in.

The technique is mixed media, any kind of material that suits on this special paper.

Riedstra is a painter, photographer and draftsman who resides in the Netherlands. She has exhibited her works in the United Kingdom, the United States and several European countries. Riedstra translates her awareness and estrangement she encounters in society, as well as her experiences living abroad and travelling, into her works. When painting, she prefers using oil and acrylic on canvas.
