About this artwork
I had a phase in winter 2023 where I missed the warmness and bright light of the sunny desert. I portraited myself as a sad girl lost between all those calling voices symbolized by the arabic letters and words. The texts are written in Diwani font and the whole subject is painted on a golden background, which reminds us of the desert.
