Rita Rössling is a painter and draftsman based in Germany whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Canada, Brazil, and Nicaragua. Her works explore micro and macrocosms, the relationship between people and their environment, and the line. Drawing is an essential element in all of her pieces, which Rössling considers to be "the most honest form of art". Her distinctive abstractions are created using pen, ink, pastels, chalk, and acrylics on paper, canvas, or cardboard.
